Ferhat has proudly been a Certified Massage Therapist since July 1999, with an exceptional Masseur Diploma in Professional Massage Therapy from the prestigious Turkish Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (TSPMR) in Istanbul, Turkey.
He studied full-time for 6 months at the TSPMR, after which he completed a further 520 hours of practical training before qualifying for his certification.
In the 12 years since first obtaining his certification, Ferhat has consistently taken more Continuing Education classes than required of him, to continue his training, and has studied a wide variety of massage and other therapeutic techniques, including: Swedish & Balinese Massage, Medical, Deep Tissue, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone, Champissage, Acupressure, Reflexology, Pre-Natal, Infant/Mother Massage, and Integrated Breathing.
As a result, Ferhat is adept in a wide range of massage styles, and can tailor each massage to your specific needs and preferences.
Ferhat has 8 years experience in 5* Spa Resorts on the 'Turkish Riviera', Southern Turkey on the Mediterranean. He has had the pleasure of working with clients from all over Europe and especially Britain.
Ferhat set-up Knead Me Massage Therapies in Oxford in May 2009, in the past years the business has grown from strength to strength with a client base of over 400 clients. He has proved himself as one of the best Massage Therapists in Oxford, with a reputation to be very proud of. His repeat business and clients are testimony to the outstanding service that he delivers, as everyone comes back for more - his style, character, strength and top quality massage techniques are in a league of its own!
Ferhat has had his qualifications checked, verified and certified for work in the UK by the Massage Training Institute (MTI), a world class Institute for the training of Massage Professionals in the UK.
Ferhat has been rigorously vetted, verified and proudly accepted on the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council's (CNHC) Register, a newly established body that regulates massage in Britain in accordance with the Department of Health's natural healthcare bill. Ferhat has full public liability insurance with the leaders in Natural Healthcare Insurance - Holistic Insurance.
He is First Aid trained and volunteers for both Oxfam Trailwalker (a volunteer masseur to the participants after completing their gruelling 100km charitable trail walk on the South Downs) and British Red Cross, and for these reasons is CRB checked too.
